Sultan of Space
Sultan Al Neyadi, a UAE astronaut, has made history by embarking on a three-month mission aboard the International Space Station. He has been engaging with schoolchildren in the UAE through video links, educating them about the wonders of the universe. In addition to his outreach efforts, Al Neyadi conducts experiments for NASA and performs repairs on the space station.
First Arab Astronaut
Al Neyadi holds the distinction of being the first Arab astronaut to participate in a long-term space mission. In April, he achieved another milestone as the first Arab astronaut to undertake a spacewalk. During the seven-hour spacewalk, Al Neyadi assisted in updating the ISS power channels.
